This policy explains how Debbie Young, REALTOR® with RE/MAX Powell River (“I”, “me”) collects, uses and protects personal information through debbieyoung.ca. I follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What I collect

• Information you choose to send through a form on this site: your name, email, phone number and message, plus any details you add about buying, selling or booking a coffee chat.
• Your email address if you sign up for market updates.
• Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.

How I use it

• To reply to your question or request.
• To provide real estate services you ask for, such as a home evaluation or help finding a property.
• To send market updates, only if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Who it is shared with

Your information may be handled by service providers that help run this site, for example the website host that receives form submissions and the listings search provided through RealtyHD. These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. When you work with me on a transaction, information may also be shared with RE/MAX Powell River and other parties as needed to complete it, as required by real estate regulations.

Listings and third-party sites

The listings search at debbieyoung.realtyhd.com and links to other sites are run by third parties with their own privacy policies. I am not responsible for how they handle your information.

This site uses only the cookies and similar technology needed for it and its embedded services, such as fonts and listings search, to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long I keep it

I keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as required by law and real estate regulations.
